The special educator is responsible for providing instruction which will allow the learning process to continue in a smooth manner. Specially abled students need to build relationship with the teacher and trust is the main core of this relationship. The teacher is also responsible to implement what they have learnt especially that is related to individualized instruction. Special education teachers are also responsible for planning the future goals of students and for that they must use multiple forms of assessments like formal as well as informal. Special education teachers must also remain connected with the families of the student and keep them informed about the progress. It is also a duty of the special education teacher upgrade her skills.
